To make your own pinch blocks with three different grip sizes you’ll need:

Pencil
Ruler
Set Square (Not really needed)
Sandpaper
Wood Saw
Power Drill
Drill Bit – slightly narrower than the eye screw’s thread (e.g. I used 4mm drill bit for a 6mm thread eye screw)
Drill Bit – wide enough for sling/rope to pass through (I used 16mm)
Eye Screws x3 (I used 6mmx60mm with eye diameter of 14mm)
Wood Glue
Clamp (x2 if you want to glue all blocks at the same time)
Adjustable Wrench
Cloth – to wipe away excess glue
Card – to spread out the glue (I used a business card)

Wood – Enough to create 6 blocks (I used pine: 88x37mm. 100mm was the width suitable for my hand, so I needed a length of 600mm + 50mm for the stopper. So 650mm in total. Also make sure that the 3 width block is suitable for your max pinch span – my 3x37mm was just ok, ideally it would have been a little less)

Now that you’ve got all the material and tools…throw them into a bag and shake it all about. If that doesn’t assemble the pinch blocks…maybe try again. Otherwise you’ll have to follow the steps laid out in the video. Enjoy!
