Waterloo, special trains to Portsmouth harbour then by ferry to the Isle of Wight. Boys leaving at the Station and parents waving them off.

Festiniog Railway North Wales, a work party volunteer to build a deviation to carry the light railway around the reservoir. Top station and the though the Barn cutting along a new shelf. Work supervised by Richard Jarvis ( in the blue shirt) to the end of the line and the new tunnel.
