Pipeline Paradise is the name of a skill and thrill attraction in Soak City Water Park which brings body board surfing to life without the ocean. By generating a thin sheet of water that flows over a stationary, paded wave form, Pipeline Paradise simulates the wave action of an ocean. The resulting water action creates wave-like shapes, permitting riders on body boards to make all the coolest surfing moves including the chance to slide down, carve a turn and ride up the wave surface. Variations in the shape, velocity and volume of water provide a range of skill and activity levels.
